Job Summary:
As an In Home Caregiver with Safe and Sound Home Care, you will provide one-on-one care to our clients in the Oxford, MS area. Our caregivers work closely with clients to assist with a variety of tasks, including personal hygiene care, companionship, meal preparation, and more. We are seeking dedicated, energetic, and ethical caregivers to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by tending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors' appointments, walks, etc.).
Plan and prepare meals.
Complete client shopping or accompany them.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency.
Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with meal preparation, including serving and other tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to continuously learn new skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year).
Willingness to enforce safety standards.
High school diploma or equivalent/experience as a Caregiver.
