Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical-Surgical Telemetry & Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative acute-care environment.
The ideal candidate has recent acute-care Med-Surg RN experience and is comfortable caring for patients requiring medical-surgical, telemetry, and neurological nursing care. Strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, medication management, and patient education are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and throughout each shift.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly communicate significant findings.
- Provide individualized nursing care based on patient needs, clinical findings, and established standards.
- Perform ordered procedures, treatments, and patient monitoring.
- Administer prescribed medications safely and monitor patients for therapeutic and adverse responses.
- Recognize unintended medication responses and take appropriate clinical action.
- Monitor telemetry and patient status according to department standards.
- Provide attentive care to patients with medical-surgical and neurological conditions.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively identify patient needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough electronic medical records.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care.
- Translate complex medical information into clear, understandable language.
- Advocate for patients and families throughout the care experience.
- Maintain patient safety, infection-control, and quality-care standards.
- Support positive clinical outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute-care Med-Surg RN experience.
- Current Registered Nurse credentials applicable to the position.
- Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple patient needs in a fast-paced acute-care environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and compassionate, evidence-based nursing care.
Required Certifications
- BLS – Basic Life Support: Must be obtained within 30 days of employment start.
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support: Must be obtained within 30 days of employment start.

Compensation
$30.89–$43.25/hour, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
Additional differentials:
- Night shift: +$3/hour
- Weekend: +$2/hour
