First shift PRN - with a minimum of 2 shifts a month as well as coverage when primary staff needs to be off !!!
We are currently seeking FEMALE staff members ONLY to join our team in supporting a 22-year-old female who resides at home with her mother and siblings.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable, responsible, and have dependable transportation. The individual enjoys going on community outings and car rides, and mileage reimbursement will be provided when using your personal vehicle for approved activities.

In this role, you will provide personalized assistance to residents in various settings, including assisted living facilities, group homes, and community-based programs. This position offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate your availability while ensuring our residents receive the attentive care they deserve.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines
- Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being
- Practice safe manual handling techniques during resident transfers and lifting to prevent injury for both residents and staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and meal preparation
- Communicate effectively with residents’ families, healthcare providers, and team members to coordinate care plans and updates
- Implement behavior management strategies tailored to individual needs, especially for those with dementia or Alzheimer's care requirements
- Follow all safety procedures including first aid and CPR certification protocols to respond promptly during emergencies
- Document care activities accurately in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
- Familiarity with group home operations, home & community care settings, or retirement/long-term care environments
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in behavior management or memory care is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual transfers while maintaining resident dignity and safety
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
