Job Summary:
Hembree Transport Inc., is seeking reliable and motivated full-time Package and Delivery Drivers to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of packages to homes and businesses within an assigned route. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a FedEx delivery vehicle and follow all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload packages efficiently while ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Deliver packages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude while interacting with customers.
- Accurately log deliveries using a handheld scanner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding any delivery issues or delays.
REQUIRED Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to pass 10-panel drug test
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam.
- Experience in Driving but not required
- CDL not required
- Ability to lift up to 150 lbs with a hand truck and handle repetitive lifting and carrying.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

Schedule:
- Full-time schedule (5-6 days per week, including weekends if needed).
- Start time: 8:30am-9:00am
- End time: Until route completion.
