Responsibilities

How can I make life easier for the classroom teacher and support the functions of the school?

How can I support the administration/front office
The Satellite Instructional Assistants’ duties include, but are not limited to:
A. Teaching and Assisting
-
May be assigned to teach reading and math group
-
Lesson preparations, grading, and tracking student data are expected
-
Subsitute as needed in classrooms
-
Monitor student behavior, effort, and performance
B. Other Duties:
-
Proctoring MAP and state assessments (will be trained in these areas)
-
Supporting as needed in the administrative area
-
Supporting during lunch room duty
-
Helping to support and hold students accountable for expectations
-
Supporting in the front office as needed
-
Modeling and representing James Irwin Charter Schools in a positive way
-
Serving in car line supervision
-
Able to do basic accounting and deposits
-
Adept at working with computers (Word, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint)
-
Excellent organization skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
