Travel Radiology Technologist - Radiology

Job Details

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with ARRT registration and CT certification for a night shift hospital radiology assignment.

ARRT registration required
CT certification required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, not expiring prior to start
Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
Active license required (license required if applicable)
Personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) required for this assignment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer applications
Strong communication and organizational skills required
DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures including patient positioning, immobilization, and contrast administration per Radiologist protocol
Operate and maintain X-ray imaging and related equipment appropriately
Coordinate examinations to ensure timely, high-quality, and continuous patient care
Evaluate image quality and submit required images to Radiologists for interpretation
Follow Radiation Safety Measures (ALARA) to ensure patient and staff safety
Practice sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention policies
Supervise and evaluate student radiographers in the clinical setting
Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, Radiologists, and leadership
Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
