Responsibilities
- Teach Math and at least one science subject (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology) to k-12 students.
- Develop lesson plans and maintain high instructional standards.
- Support curriculum planning and continuously improve teaching materials.
- Mentor and support STEM teachers.
- Monitor student progress and communicate with families when needed.
- Help coordinate scheduling and ensure smooth operation of the STEM department.
- Participate in curriculum development and other academic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Strong knowledge of high school math and at least one science subject.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a strong plus.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching honors, AP, or advanced-level courses.
- Leadership or academic management experience.
- Familiarity with the U.S. middle and high school curriculum.
