DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:
The Department of Corrections (DOC) requires Desktop Support staff to maintain a working
knowledge of internal computer systems. The technician will be responsible for repairing and
maintaining thousands of desktops, laptops, and other PC devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Installing new PCs and laptops to replace end-of-life equipment.
Maintaining inventory and recycling outdated equipment in accordance with DOC policy.
Closing work orders in the DOC ticketing system.
Following procedures under oversight from the Field Tech Manager.
