Work schedule: WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAYS, FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS, AND SUNDAYS from 7:15am to 3:30pm (needed holiday availability).
Position pay: Compensation ranges from 25 to $30/hour (pay + tips).
Job Details: The ideal candidate for this position will work at FOH. Candidate must be reliable, responsible and have solid communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow management instructions, read, write, and effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management. Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.
Essential Duties
- Open the store and close the store following management instructions
- Internalize, study, and taste products to exhibit a clear, full understanding of our products.
- Cook and serve dishes
- Prepare and cook all menu items to the standards of MB
- Assist with preps and cleaning the kitchen, including doing dishes on a regular basis.
- Accurately take, fill, and process guest orders in a professional, clear, positive manner.
- Proactive and take initiative in solving problems.
- Maintain and operate coffee, tea, water, and keg stations.
- Manage retail display and condiments/supplies.
- Maintain a clean and clear work environment.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation requirements
- Effectively and efficiently take direction from the management team.
- Assist management with various projects as needed.
- Attend meetings, training sessions, or other special events as required by management
- Maintain an impeccable coffee station.
- Make drinks to order
- Keep coffee supplies, merchandise, napkins, and other supplies stocked throughout the day.
- Perform proper maintenance of coffee equipment on a daily & as-needed basis.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items, products, coffee, and Manresa Bread information correctly and with a positive attitude.
- Stay current on coffee offerings by our supplier.
- Clean, sweep and maintain assigned stations and areas in the FOH.
- Frequently run food and beverages to the table as well as clear tables.
- Be able to attend company monthly or quarterly meetings

Work Environment
This job operates in a retail business environment. This role routinely uses standard food retail equipment such as ipads, computers, phones, knives, sinks, and coffee equipment.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that weigh more than 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- The position schedule is 8 hours shift. Days and hours of work vary by schedule/accommodation needs.
- Ability to work federal holidays.
- Varying schedule to include early mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as business dictates.
