Position Title: Line Assembly Operator
Department: Manufacturing / Production
Location: Katy, TX
Position Summary
The Line Assembly Operator is responsible for performing hands-on assembly tasks on a production line to manufacture high quality products safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. This role supports daily production goals, ensures product consistency, and maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble components and products according to standardized work instructions.
Operate hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and production equipment as required.
Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
Conduct visual and functional inspections of parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Report any defects, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the Line Lead immediately.
Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies.
Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
Keep workstations organized and contribute to 5S/lean manufacturing initiatives.
Assist team members and perform other duties off the assembly line as assigned to support production goals.

Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift, up to 50lbs. for extended periods.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools safely.
Ability to follow instructions precisely.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Preferred:
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production line work.
Familiarity with basic power tools.
Experience with data entry, touch-screen interface, MES, SFC, WMS and SAP or other ERP systems.

Work Environment
Fast paced production environment.
Exposure to machinery, moving parts, and varying temperatures depending on plant conditions.
Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and product safety equipment as defined by safety and quality policies.
