Description: Configure Management tools like chef and puppet, CI/CD with Jenkins, Release Management with Maven, GIT, Subversion. Write scripts in Bash, Shell, Perl, Ruby and Python scripting languages. Design and develop Splunk Enterprise Security Head Cluster and use the other monitoring tools like Tivoli. Build distributed, reliable and scalable data pipelines to ingest and process data in real time. Designing and Building Big Data Applications to meet Business requirements. Fine tune Big Data Applications for high performance and throughput. Develop debugging tools to automatically detect failure and visualizes. Install, configure and maintain apache, samba, Web Sphere and Web Logic applications servers. Responsible for managing and supporting virtual servers of VMware and UCS. Create and manage Splunk access roles through LDAP and Active Directory. Patching and troubleshooting for all ESX servers on daily basis. Performance monitoring and capacity management of systems. Create Users, Roles and permissions to knowledge objects and applications. Responsible for server migrations and upgrades vCenter include storage, backup’s vCenter configurations and VMware tools. Responsible for Active Directory, creating user Accounts, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, and WSUS. Responsible to write PowerShell and Power CLI scripts to automate common operations such as VM deployments and backups. Responsible for handling daily tickets and helping customers troubleshoot VM issues (VMware tools, crashes, disk latency, CIP speeds and other poor performance) that support UMMC environment. Responsible for providing on-call support for level 3 escalations and root cause analysis RCI. Develop and maintain key relationships with infrastructure and operations teams.
Required: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications or a related field, or its equivalent, related to this field of work and or the work experience in related field and the necessary competencies
