Residential Manager

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Residential Manager to lead residential services supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at our Suffolk Residences.
What You’ll Do:
Leadership
- Supervise, support, and coach direct care staff
- Complete staff evaluations and support ongoing employee development and training compliance
- Provide on-call support and guidance to residential staff as needed
- Monitor staff training compliance and assist with coordinating trainings
Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation, service plans, and required reports in compliance with Medicaid Waiver and licensing standards
- Assist with admissions, assessments, and discharge coordination processes
- Support audits, inspections, and utilization reviews by providing required documentation and service data
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements
Support and Care Coordination
- Monitor implementation of Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) and physician orders
- Coordinate services with interdisciplinary team members, families, guardians, and community providers
- Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Support individuals in accessing services and resources that promote independence and wellbeing
Residential Operations and Safety
- Assist with maintaining safe, compliant, and supportive residential environments
- Conduct safety drills and support emergency preparedness and life safety activities
- Monitor residential operations and support quality improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned by agency leadership
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field
- Minimum of one year of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience preferred
- Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) designation required
- Experience within Medicaid Waiver and/or ICF-IID services preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record required
