TOPTICA Photonics, Inc. is the North American subsidiary of TOPTICA Photonics, SE, a global manufacturer of high-performance laser systems used in demanding applications in science and industry. We are seeking a qualified Laser Technology R&D Laboratory Technician to work within the R&D team on a wide range of projects. This position will challenge candidates with tasks in hands-on work with lasers and optics, automation and motion control, data acquisition and interfacing, data analysis and report generation, and a variety of other tasks as required
- Collaboration within the R&D team on a wide range of laboratory tasks related to new product development of lasers and optical components
- Optical alignment of lasers and optical systems
- Data acquisition and analysis in support of measurement campaigns
- Report generation
- Prior experience handling and working with optics
- Experience with Altium
- Prior experience with machine vision
- Experience with SolidWorks
