Community First National Bank is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated, experienced Loan Closer to join our LPO Mortgage Division. This role is responsible for reviewing closing documentation, ensuring data integrity, and preparing accurate closing figures. Key Responsibilities
- Review title commitments, lock confirmations, approval sheets, and loan documents for accuracy and compliance in accordance with our Quality Assurance checklist
- Ensure all critical dates within pipeline are met, including but not limited to closing dates and lock expiration dates
- Balance fees and ensure fee compliance
- Ensure Accuracy of tax/insurance information and data entry
- Clear closing conditions
- Prepare closing figures and review/approve Closing Disclosures from title companies to ensure accuracy
- Conduct timely review of closed loan packages to verify accuracy, completeness, and readiness for funding.
- Communicate effectively with team members and act as a liaison across departments to resolve issues and support loan closings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Closer (preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience with Encompass Loan Origination System (preferred).
Work Location: Remote in Kansas City Area
- This position will be work from home, however, you must be able to commute to Lenexa, KS for initial training and onboarding, as well as quarterly for in-office meetings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.04 - $26.44 per hour
