Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers while promoting our products and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. You will play a role in driving sales, maintaining store presentation, and supporting overall operations in a furniture & home decor consignment store environment.
The hours of the position are: Thursday 10-6, Friday 10-6 and Sunday 12-5
*Only applicants available to work all of these hours will be considered for the position*
Duties
- Greet and assist customers with their inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling.
- Maintain merchandising standards by arranging products attractively and cleanliness
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations during transactions.
- Exhibit strong phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries via phone
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals while maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales with a focus on customer service.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cashiering functions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 – 27 per week
