Overview
Best Western Summit Inn is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team on a part-time basis. While prior experience in the hotel industry is beneficial, we are willing to provide training to the right candidate. The role involves interacting with guests, handling reservations, maintaining cleanliness in the lobby and work area.
Duties
- Greet and check-in guests efficiently and professionally
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Manage reservations via phone or in person
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the lobby and work area, as well as breakfast room.
- Complete daily check list.
Skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in guest services
- Knowledge of phone systems and etiquette
- Understanding of hotel management practices
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong guest relations skills
- Prior experience in a hotel setting
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service
- Proficiency in handling guest relations and resolving issues effectively
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Work well both individually, and as a team.
- Excellent customer service skills
