Job Title: Security Officer
Location: Queen Victoria Residences – Honolulu, HI
Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role
Queen Victoria Residences (QVR) is seeking professional, reliable Security Officers to provide a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and staff at our luxury condominium property in Honolulu.
This role focuses on customer service, visibility, and proactive security presence. We are looking for individuals who are attentive, professional, and take pride in their work.
No experience? No problem. We will cover the cost of required guard card training for qualified candidates entering the security field for the first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine foot patrols of the property (including building and parking areas)
- Monitor for suspicious activity and safety hazards
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors
- Control access to the property and verify authorization
- Escort delivery drivers/ deliver packages
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and calls for service
- Write clear and accurate daily activity logs and incident reports
- Maintain a visible presence to deter crime and ensure safety
- And other duties as assigned
Security Hours
- Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Shifts assigned based on team coverage
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- Pass a background and drug test
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable transportation
- Be able to lift 50lbs
- Ability to remain alert and observant
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior security experience (not required)
- Valid Hawaii Guard Card (or willingness to obtain — training provided)
