Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist with food preparation and handling in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items; assist with ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role in the food service or coffee industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Knowledge of Toast POS system or similar point-of-sale is a plus
- Available and punctual.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A great attitude
- Willingness to work within a team atmosphere
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures within the food industry.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii was born on the Big Island of Hawaii in 1989 with the dream of sharing American-grown, premium Hawaiian coffee from Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Moloka'i and Ka'u with coffee lovers everywhere.
In addition to coffee with a kick, we serve popular blended drinks, teas, food, and branded merchandise.
