ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Execute advanced rough and finish carpentry with exceptional precision and independence.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, architectural plans, and shop drawings.
- Solve advanced field challenges while proactively recommending solutions.
- Lead high-end finish work, custom details, cabinetry installation, and built-ins.
- Coordinate with the Carpentry Manager and other trades on complex project scopes.
- Mentor Apprentice and Journeyman Carpenters while helping elevate the overall skill of the team.
- Maintain BSD's high standards for craftsmanship, safety, and jobsite organization.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of professional carpentry experience, preferably in high-end residential construction.
- Demonstrated mastery of framing, finish carpentry, exterior systems, cabinetry installation, and custom detailing.
- Proven ability to independently execute complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong blueprint and shop drawing interpretation skills.
- Experience mentoring or training other carpenters.
- Owns and maintains a complete set of carpentry tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Must pass a background check.
- Formal training or certification in carpentry or a related trade is a plus
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
We believe in rewarding hard work and dedication. The hourly wage for this role is $31-37 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
