Painter / Drywall Repair Technician
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour | Full-time
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Painter with strong drywall repair skills to join our maintenance team. You'll prepare, repair, and paint both occupied and vacant residential properties, helping ensure every unit is move-in ready and maintained to a high standard.
What You'll Do
- Perform interior and exterior painting across residential and multifamily properties
- Prepare surfaces through scraping, sanding, caulking, patching, masking, and priming
- Repair drywall — patch holes, replace damaged sections, tape, mud, texture, and finish
- Match existing textures and paint colors as needed
- Pressure wash exterior surfaces before painting when required
- Repair minor wood rot and trim damage prior to painting
- Keep job sites clean and organized
- Complete work orders efficiently while meeting company quality standards
- Communicate with supervisors on project progress and material needs
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
What You'll Need
- At least 3 years of residential painting experience (5+ years preferred)
- Hands-on experience with drywall repair, finishing, and texture matching
- Solid knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work comfortably on ladders
- Your own basic hand tools and sprayer
- A sharp eye for detail and quality craftsmanship
