Honey Berry is a breakfast and lunch concept built on the belief that happiness starts with a pancake breakfast. We are currently seeking energetic, friendly, and dependable Baristas to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Take customer food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other specialty beverages according to company standards.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu and make recommendations to guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure prompt and accurate order delivery.
- Create a welcoming and memorable guest experience by addressing customer needs and resolving concerns promptly.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, counter area, dining room, and service stations.
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables as needed.
- Stock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
- Follow all company policies and health and safety regulations.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a barista, server, cashier, or in a customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Working knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds when needed.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset.
