We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, bar area, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with setup and breakdown of events such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring all details are handled smoothly
- Engage with guests to promote sales opportunities and enhance their overall experience by offering recommendations and upselling when appropriate
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably with fine dining or nightclub environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals accurately
- Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
