Full-time or Part-time (flexible scheduling available)
The Occupational Therapist evaluates residents and develops individualized treatment plans focused on improving functional independence, safety, and participation in activities of daily living. The OT works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to support residents in achieving the highest possible quality of life.
Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable functional goals
Address activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental ADLs, and functional mobility
Recommend and train residents on adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies
Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team
Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner
Educate residents and families on safety, independence, and carryover strategies
Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary discussions
Licensed or eligible for Colorado Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure
Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred
Strong clinical reasoning and organizational skills
Passion for resident-centered, functional rehabilitation
