Successful entrepreneur, writer, speaker, and mom, Tana Amen is seeking a part-time assistant who can be an extension of herself. She is seeking someone who blends administrative precision with personal support, strategic thinking, and the ability to juggle the unique demands of working for someone who manages multiple careers, daily logistics, and occasional creative projects.
This is not a static desk job. It's a dynamic, multi-layered role for someone who thrives on variety, can manage both business and personal responsibilities, and wants to be deeply trusted in a fast-moving environment. Therefore, it requires flexibility and critical thinking.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Running personal errands, including dry cleaning pickup/drop-off, pharmacy visits, grocery shopping, and other household-related tasks.

Collaborating effectively with other household staff and team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Communicating professionally via phone, email, and in person with family members, vendors, and service providers.

Assisting with the coordination of vendors and service providers for residential home projects.

Assisting with the coordination of vendors, contractors, and service providers for investment properties and other real estate-related projects.

Feeding and caring for household pets, including transporting them to veterinary appointments as needed.

Supporting travel planning and preparation, including coordinating itineraries and organizing packing lists.

Organizing supplements, household systems, inventories, and other household essentials.

Providing occasional support for family events, including setup and cleanup as needed.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed and are not limited to those listed in this job description. These may include organizing cabinets, closets, and other household spaces, as well as assisting with packing and other general household tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience providing executive or personal support to high-profile individuals, executives, or families.
- Must reside in Orange County or the surrounding areas.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable personal vehicle available for work-related responsibilities.
- Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended workdays, evenings, weekends, and accommodate last-minute requests.
- Must be able to provide credible references from previous employers.
