Job Summary:
This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role responsible for the performance, coordination, and development of the service department. The Service Manager will lead technicians, the Service Coordinator, and the Route Sales to ensure service operations run efficiently, customer expectations are exceeded, and internal standards are consistently met. This role requires a balance of leadership, organization, and willingness to step in when needed to support the team and customers directly.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, develop, and hold all service team members accountable to performance and service standards.
- Ensure the team is fully staffed, trained, and equipped to perform at a high level.
- Foster a cohesive, high-performing team environment.
2. Service Operations & Scheduling
- Ensure service schedules are optimized to meet drive time and service time targets.
- Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with customers.
- Coordinate daily operations to ensure efficient execution of all service work.
3. Performance Management & Quality Control
- Monitor field performance and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
- Address service issues quickly, including while work is in progress.
- Reduce repeat service calls by identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
4. Inventory, Routes & Resource Management
- Ensure inventory, parts, and consumables are properly stocked and managed.
- Build and sustain efficient route execution processes and resource utilization standards.
5. Hands-On Support & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Step into complete service calls when needed to meet customer commitments.
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure resolution.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow between departments.
- Align team execution with company goals and leadership direction.
6. Facilities, Fleet & Assets
- Implement and uphold systems that ensure an organized warehouse and service fleet, enabling technician productivity.
- Ensure accurate tracking of inventory and company assets.
- Oversee refurbishment efforts and optimize equipment utilization.
7. Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Hawaii Driver’s License
Education and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in service operations or related field.
- 3+ years of management or supervisor level experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and loading/unloading activities.
- Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in warehouse and outdoor environments.
- Must be able to transport materials and supplies between locations, including across streets, sidewalks, and into buildings.
- Requires the ability to safely move and maneuver loaded carts or other material-handling equipment as part of the essential job functions.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
