Overview

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct cabinets, and furniture.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment with precision to cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and other materials.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinetry components including doors, drawers, shelving, and hardware.
- Install cabinets and fixtures securely on-site while ensuring alignment and proper functionality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, including trim carpentry, framing carpentry, or cabinetry installation.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers), power tools (drills, sanders), and CNC machinery for fabrication purposes.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for precise project execution.
- Experience with construction estimating, remodeling projects, or restoration industry practices preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly.
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in woodworking or metalworking projects.
- Additional skills such as plumbing, electrical experience, tile laying or masonry are a plus but not required.
