Responsibilities — What you'll do:
- Play a key role in designing, developing, deploying, and demonstrating feature-rich mission planning applications that support the nation's most elite special operations warriors

Work with your team to test, develop, peer review, and continuously integrate changes into the code base

Conduct research for, report on, and create proof-of-concepts and prototypes for modern ways to support next generation aviation mission planning

Learn emerging technologies and programming tools to keep you and your team as well equipped as possible
Required Qualifications — We need someone who:
- Has a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical field and at least 6 years of experience

Has a background in developing mission planning applications for USASOAC, with specific focus on supporting the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment

Actively programs with one or more of the following languages: C, C++, C#, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, or Typescript

Is a motivated and energetic developer that manages time well and can prioritize tasks to ensure projects are completed on time

Engages with teammates, both virtually and face-to-face, to plan projects, seek out or provide help on issues, as well as present solutions to clients
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation
Preferred Qualifications — Bonus points if you:
- Have experience using Windows Presentation Foundation for .Net Desktop Development

Have experience using Web frameworks such as React, Node.js, Vue.js, Next.js, ASP.NET, or Angular

Have any experience developing cross platform applications using Kotlin Multiplatform or .Net MAUI

Have examples of code or applications you've built that we can check out

Can demonstrate proficiency with AI-Assisted software development workflows

Received one or more Scrum, Microsoft, Google Developer certifications or any other technical certifications
