Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in a full-time or part-time capacity. Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all legal and safety regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy, including pediatrics and critical care cases.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify medication plans, ensuring optimal medical management for diverse patient populations.
- Manage inventory effectively, including stock replenishment, medication storage, and proper documentation within pharmacy software systems.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions, medication histories, and treatment plans accurately.
- Assist in training pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with pharmacy procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and current clinical practices to deliver exceptional patient care.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pharmacology principles essential for effective patient assessment and medication management.
- Proficiency in pharmacy software applications, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and EHR systems for accurate documentation.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and compassionately.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices to ensure medication availability while minimizing waste.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Pay: $120,000.00 per year
