Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. In this vital role, you will coordinate daily site activities, manage teams of skilled workers, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and uphold quality standards. Your leadership will drive project efficiency, safety, and success, making a tangible impact on the built environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage construction crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to guide team work.
- Ensure compliance with federal construction safety regulations such as OSHA and construction safety management standards.
- Oversee quality control processes, including construction drawing review and adherence to project plans.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Facilitate effective communication among project managers, clients, crew members, and management teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising construction sites with strong leadership skills in managing teams in a construction management role.
- Extensive knowledge of heavy civil or commercial construction projects; Must have knowledge of remodeling kitchen and bathrooms.
- Strong understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, construction drawing review, and interpreting technical schematics.
- Excellent communication skills for effective managerial communication and crew supervision.
