The position is for an A&P Mechanic responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft and engines through service, repair, troubleshooting, and overhaul. The job emphasizes compliance with FAA regulations, hands-on technical work with aircraft systems, and strong documentation practices.
This is a safety-sensitive role governed by DOT regulations, meaning candidates must pass drug/alcohol testing and background checks.

- Hourly pay: $22.00 – $44.00
- Additional pay: +$2.00 per FAA license

Essential Duties
- Perform aircraft maintenance in line with FAA-approved data.
- Document all work accurately (compliance focus).
- Repair, replace, rebuild, and calibrate aircraft systems (structural, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, plumbing).
- Use a variety of specialized tools: rivet guns, welding equipment, sheet metal brakes, drills, gauges, etc.
- Ensure completion of work cards (routine, non-routine, and customer requests).
- Maintain repair station cleanliness and organization.
- Perform other duties as required by supervisors.
Education & Experience
- Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
- Airframe & Powerplant License (A&P) Preferred
- Experience: At least 3 years of recent A&P experience.
- Preference for large commercial aircraft, but corporate, general aviation, or military experience will be considered.
- Must be flexible on shifts (likely includes nights, weekends, rotating schedules).
- Background check + DOT drug test required.
