We are looking for a qualified Caregiver to help care for senior Clients with some dementia. The ideal candidate will be caring and will value the patient's independence and dignity. We want someone who will provide physical care, perform direct resident care, and provide assistance with activities of daily living. The right candidate will be responsible for supervising and assisting with the patient's personal health, setting up a daily schedule of activities, and relaying any pertinent information regarding the patient. Also documenting notes for every shift.
Openings are in; Clinton, New Hartford, Utica, Rome, and surrounding areas. Shifts offered to you will depend on your experience and availability. Must have Valid Drivers License & Vehicle Insured by you
Responsibilities:
- Following Clients Daily Care Plan
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing or showering, dressing and grooming, serving meals, assistance with taking medication and walking and PT for exercise
- Housekeeping, such as dusting, cleaning and laundry.and recreation throughout the day.
- Maintain an environment that is both sanitary and safe for the resident.
- Prepare meals for those who are not able to feed themselves.
- Escorting to DR Appoimtments
- Check vital signs and temperature.
- Help residents deal with personal problems.
- Documenting Notes on every shift.
- Keep daily routines regular and consistant.
- Always contact Tatiana with any concerns, questions, and emergencies.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
