Purpose
The Project Manager at Scott-Long Construction oversees the entire construction project lifecycle from design & build to closeout with a goal of achieving financial, quality and schedule success for SLC and our trusted clients and stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Understand and achieve the goals of construction projects
· Build, maintain and grow the relationship with all stakeholders, including but not limited to owners/clients, design teams and architects, subcontractors, SLC team members
· Oversight and management of the entire design and build of the construction project
· Project quality control
· Manage project cashflow
· Inspection of jobsites
· Project close-out
· Prepare, update, maintain and communicate master schedule as project requires
· Reconcile construction progress with master schedule
· Provide project stakeholders with information and materials required to meet project goals through scheduling activities, consistent follow-up, and thorough communication
· Drive safe working conditions and ensure an accident-free project
· Adhere to SLC accounting practices and ensure timeliness of PO/invoice preparation/processing
· Actively seek out process improvements and operational excellence in order to drive financial and building success
· Work closely with project team providing consistent feedback, communicating project updates, schedules, and expectations
· Business Development - develop pipeline and seek out opportunities for future projects
· All other duties as assigned
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or commensurate experience in lieu of degree
· 3-5 years of commercial construction project management experience
· Demonstrated experience working closely with owner, architects and subcontractors in a construction project management setting
· Proven track record of project management financial success
· Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
· A minimum of 5 years working on project teams
· Microsoft Project and Bluebeam experience
· Excellent communication skills

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
