Preschool Teacher for School 2024-2025
Eagle's Wings is a Christian play-based preschool in Eagle, Idaho. We want an upbeat, energetic, and positive individual passionate about early childhood to join our highly qualified staff for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the children's and preschool's overall well-being. He or she will create, manage, and lead an active learning environment that guides children to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Daily planning, organizing, and supervising children
2. Assist in creating lesson plans, monthly calendars, and school projects
3. Build and maintain positive relationships (and communication) with children and parents
4. Encourage parent involvement and participation with our preschool and church community
5. Always maintain a safe and welcoming environment
6. Assist in planning for preschool special events and decorate the preschool rooms and bulletin boards
7. Attend monthly staff meetings, in-service training, and all other required training
8. Other duties as assigned
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Individual must have knowledge of early childhood education and child development. Experience with planning and implementing a curriculum for a preschool program is a plus. Must have the ability to plan and create lesson plans. Must be patient and compassionate and have the ability to create an inviting and warm learning environment. Must have the ability to work well with the general public, parents, and peers. Must have knowledge of the Idaho Early Learning Standards. Must be certified in CPR and First Aid or be willing to attain certification upon employment.
September - May
HOURS & DAYS:
Monday-Thursday –9:00 am to 1:45 pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.50 per hour
