- Manage all aspects of the deli department, including food preparation, service, and inventory management

- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary
- Create work schedules and assign tasks to deli team members
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a deli or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members is preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
