House of Noodles at Newton Centre is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper / Dishwasher to join our team! You will help will keep our culinary operations running smoothly. Duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks
- Operate dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Handle manual lifting of supplies, dishes, and equipment safely in accordance with heavy lifting guidelines
- Follow food safety management standards to ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients and supplies
- Support overall sanitation efforts to uphold kitchen health and safety standards
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required;
- Familiarity with basic food handling procedures and sanitation practices is advantageous
- Experience operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or prep stations is a plus
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Weekend and holiday availability is preferred
- Good communication skills
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
