Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business.
- Maintain strict adherence to sanitation procedures and food safety management practices to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for order processing, payments, and receipts.
- Monitor alcohol consumption levels responsibly, checking IDs as needed to comply with legal drinking age requirements.
- Keep the bar area organized, stocked, and sanitized throughout your shift, following all food safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow during busy hours while upholding high standards of customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred; strong customer service skills are essential.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures, food safety management, and alcohol serving regulations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on creating welcoming interactions with guests.
- Must be at least 18 years old (or as legally required in your location) with valid certifications where applicable.
