About Us:
Victory Builders LLC is a residential construction company specializing in new home construction and development throughout the Charlotte region. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Manager to oversee multiple residential projects from start to finish.
Position Summary:
The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day construction process, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, maintaining project schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and delivering homes on time and within budget. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact between the office, field personnel, trade partners, and inspectors. Construction managers typically oversee scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, safety, and project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple residential construction projects simultaneously
- Maintain construction schedules
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Schedule inspections and coordinate with local municipalities
- Identify and resolve construction issues in a timely manner
- Maintain communication with company leadership regarding project progress
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics
- Perform project closeout and final walkthroughs
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of residential construction management or superintendent experience preferred
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and building codes
- Experience scheduling and managing subcontractors
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Buildertrend
- Valid driver's license
