We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. Duties
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as directed by the head cook or chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Help with food handling and storage, ensuring all items are stored at appropriate temperatures to maintain freshness and safety.
- Support catering events by preparing food items according to specified menus and assisting with setup and breakdown of service areas.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other food preparation tools.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, providing assistance wherever needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of food handling practices and safety protocols is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude.
