A Day in This Role
You'll be the go-to person for keeping units and common areas functioning smoothly - from troubleshooting an AC unit to getting a vacant apartment ready for its next resident. No two days look exactly alike, which keeps the work interesting.
Core Responsibilities

Handle resident work orders promptly and with a customer-first attitude

Perform repairs and preventive upkeep on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances

Turn vacant units for move-in, including patch/paint and general repair work

Walk the grounds and amenities regularly to catch issues early

Keep clear, organized records of completed work and materials used

Support pool care, light grounds upkeep, and overall curb appeal

Rotate into the on-call schedule to cover after-hours emergencies

Work safely and in line with property procedures at all times
What You Bring

Background in apartment or residential maintenance strongly preferred

Comfort working across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and basic carpentry

EPA certification a plus (or willingness to earn one)

Sharp troubleshooting instincts and a careful eye for detail

Physical capability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders as part of routine work

Dependable, self-directed work style with solid teamwork skills

Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
