Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Ford Diesel Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of Ford Super Duty Trucks, from the 7.3L to the newest 6.7L Power Stroke Diesels. Your expertise will ensure that vehicles are diagnosed and repaired correctly. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using Ford's IDS/FDRS scan tools & online shop manual to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and all other powertrain components.
- Replace or repair shocks & struts, brakes, HVAC systems, and other tertiary equipment related to drivability.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems.
- Assist with assembly or disassembly of vehicles during repairs; perform heavy lifting safely when handling large parts.
Skills
- Proven experience working in a dealership environment with OEM tools & procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of Power Stroke Diesel systems and how they function.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals; ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Familiarity with Ford's IDS/FDRS diagnostic software; ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail; capable of performing heavy lifting safely.
- Effective communication skills to explain technical issues clearly.
Pay: $1,300.00 - $1,600.00 per week
