Food Prep & Dishwasher — Local Diner
We’re a small, busy diner looking for reliable food prep and dishwasher team members to join our kitchen team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, staying busy, and being part of a team, you’ll fit right in.
Food Prep — What you’ll do:
Prepare and portion ingredients for breakfast and lunch
Wash, cut, chop, and prep vegetables and other ingredients
Prepare items ahead of service to keep the kitchen running smoothly
Help with food assembly and plating as needed
Keep the prep area, equipment, and kitchen clean and organized
Properly store and label prepared food and ingredients
Follow basic food safety and cleanliness standards
Assist the kitchen team wherever needed during busy periods
Dishwasher — What you’ll do:
Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils
Keep the dish area clean and organized
Keep the kitchen stocked with clean dishes and supplies
Take out trash and help with general kitchen cleaning
Assist the kitchen team where needed during busy periods
Follow basic food safety and cleanliness standards
What we’re looking for:
Restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but we can train the right person
Able to work on your feet and handle a busy rush
Dependable, on time, and a team player
Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
Able to keep a clean and organized work area
