Job Summary
We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain for advanced machinery and electromechanical systems. This role ensures the timely procurement of high-quality components, efficient production support, and seamless coordination with engineering, manufacturing, and external suppliers. The ideal candidate combines strategic sourcing expertise with hands-on operational leadership in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all supply chain activities, including sourcing, procurement, planning, scheduling, inventory control and logistics
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for critical components for manufactured products which include motors, magnetic bearings, and power electronics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure cost efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to support new product development and manufacturing schedules
- Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, shortages, and quality issues
- Drive inventory optimization to balance cost, availability, and production needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations within a manufacturing or engineering-driven company
- Knowledge of aerospace, energy, or industrial manufacturing supply chains
- Experience with high-precision or electromechanical components preferred
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics tools
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, technical environment
Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
