Media Ministry Director

Position Summary
Bethel Missionary Baptist Church is seeking a creative, organized, and technology-minded Media Ministry Director to lead and coordinate the church's media, livestream, and digital communication efforts.
This individual will oversee the systems and volunteers responsible for supporting worship services, livestream production, presentations, video content, and digital communication. The Media Ministry Director plays a vital role in helping extend the ministry of the church beyond the sanctuary by ensuring that worship experiences are communicated clearly, professionally, and effectively both in person and online.
The ideal candidate possesses a combination of technical skill, leadership ability, creativity, and a heart for ministry.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee livestream production for worship services and special events.
- Coordinate presentation software, audio/video systems, and media volunteers.
- Recruit, train, and schedule media team members.
- Support the recording, editing, and distribution of sermons and ministry content.
- Assist with digital communication efforts, promotional media, and ministry announcements.
- Troubleshoot media and technology issues as needed.
- Collaborate with church leadership to support worship services, ministry events, and communication initiatives.
- Maintain and steward media equipment and technology resources.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with livestreaming, audio/video production, media technology, or related fields.
- Familiarity with presentation software, streaming platforms, and digital communication tools.
- Working knowledge of or willingness to learn:
- Behringer X32
- ProPresenter 7+
- Blackmagic Design products
- Video editing software
- Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, etc.)
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to recruit, train, and lead volunteers effectively.
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and adaptability.
Typical Schedule
- Sunday Worship Services (approximately 3 hours)
- Wednesday Bible Study (approximately 2 hours)
- Team and Joint Ministry Meetings as scheduled
- Special services, ministry events, and seasonal programs as scheduled
