We are looking for a Warehouse Associate in the Blauvelt, NY area.
Receiving, scanning, packing, labeling, and safely moving inventory throughout the warehouse.
Hours 6:30am- 2:30pm
Duties:
- Understand basic methods for handling proper use of wrapping materials, lifting techniques, and material handling equipment.
- Utilize basic scanner functions to track inventory movement within the warehouse.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks/containers, ensuring safe item handling using material handling equipment, proper packing and protection according to SOPs, and accurate scanning for inventory movement.
- Participate in projects to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Conduct visual inspections of products throughout the distribution process to identify damages and blemishes.
- Operate an Order Picker forklift
- Understand inventory SKU and S/N designations.
- Demonstrate proper usage of various material handling equipment.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Performing basic cleaning and minor refurbishing of products.
Requirements:
- Able to work on your feet up to 8 hours per day
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Basic Warehouse skills
- Ability to follow direction
- Language: English required
- Work authorization: United States (Required)
