American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level III Trauma, Acute Care Hospital, requiring ARRT(R) certification and at least 1 year of experience.

286-bed Level III Trauma, Acute Care Hospital

X-Ray department with float coverage to OR, Ortho, Fluoro, Inpatient, Outpatient, and ER
-
Adult and/or pediatric patient population
-
3x12-hour day shifts, Saturday through Monday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
No on-call rotation required
-
Epic EMR (experience preferred)
-
Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience

ARRT(R), SCRQSA, BLS, and CPR certifications required — AHA certifications only

Fluoroscopy and OR experience required
-
Radiation badge required — must be provided by the traveler's agency

SC state license required if applicable; candidates with a pending license may be considered but must be active prior to start

SSN and Driver's License required for consideration

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Performs radiographic procedures requiring sound anatomical positioning knowledge, technical competency, and the ability to work with minimum supervision

Applies ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis across adult and/or pediatric populations

Completion of online modules required prior to start date (approximately 4 hours)

Teal top and black bottom scrubs required

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Former permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

Local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) are accepted on a case-by-case basis; non-local candidates are prioritized

All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration and are subject to facility approval
-
Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
-
