Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role is essential in supporting the overall functionality of our spaces through diligent cleaning and maintenance practices.
Duties
- Perform industrial and commercial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or maintenance.
- Maintain floors through buffing and polishing to ensure they are clean and presentable.
- Assist with residential painting projects as needed, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues to management.
- Ensure restrooms, break rooms, and common areas are kept clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold safety standards and maintain a clean working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial services, including industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing is advantageous.
- Experience as a porter or in facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $21.58 - $22.66 per hour
