Job Overview
The Sales Administrator is responsible for managing and processing customer orders, ensuring timely production and delivery, and providing exceptional support to both customers and the sales team. This role involves coordinating between multiple departments and stakeholders to ensure accuracy, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Order Management: Enter, modify, and manage orders in our ERP system, coordinating with sales and customers to ensure completeness and timely approval of drawings.
- Customer Communication: Contact customers for order confirmations, handle inquiries via phone or email, and provide status updates.
- Order Tracking: Review and confirm order details, advise production of any changes or delays, and manage weekly order status reports for International Markets.
- Shipping Coordination: Track and obtain Proof of Delivery (POD) for shipments, manage Customs documentation, and ensure timely delivery.
- Documentation and Reporting: Generate and maintain accurate shipping documents, handle discrepancies in delivery paperwork, and provide daily shipping reports.
- Support Functions: Assist in arranging pick-ups and shipments, support accounting and purchasing tasks, and handle main phone line inquiries.
Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Navision or similar ERP systems for order management and tracking.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, sales reps, and other departments.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple orders and shipping tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in order processing, documentation, and reporting.
- Customer Service: Provide responsive support and resolve issues efficiently.
