Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of athletes’ physical health, including anatomy and physiology evaluations
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs focused on body mechanics, sports medicine principles, and conditioning techniques
- Provide immediate care and rehabilitation support for injured athletes using medical terminology accurately and effectively
- Educate athletes on nutrition, hydration, recovery strategies, and overall wellness to enhance performance
- Collaborate with coaches, medical professionals, and personal trainers to create integrated training plans
- Monitor athlete progress through regular check-ins, adjusting programs based on physiological responses and body mechanics insights
Qualifications
- Proven experience or certification in athletic training or sports medicine preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and medical terminology
- Ability to apply health coaching techniques to motivate athletes toward healthier habits
- Familiarity with nutrition principles related to athletic performance and recovery
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex concepts to athletes of diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated understanding of injury prevention strategies and rehabilitation protocols
