Job Summary
Privately owned, small animal hospital seeking a part-time (with possible oppurtinity to move into full-time) Registered Veterinary Technician to join our veterinary health care team. Harmony Road Veterinary Clinic is conveniently located near Harmony Road and College Avenue, allowing for an easy commute from Loveland, Timnath and Greeley. We take pride in ourselves for building strong relationships with our staff and creating a close, tight knit community.
We are searching for a talented, self-motivated, and compassionate individual that is looking to utilize their technical skills and clinical knowledge to provide exceptional care to our clients and patients. CVT/RVT Certification is required.
Duties
- Our technician job description includes (but is not limited to) exam room, laboratory and pharmacy duties, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, IV catheter placement, hospitalized patient monitoring, accurately maintaining medical records, and client communication and education (in person, over the phone, via text and/or email). Since we are a small clinic, everyone is required to answer phones and handle client needs.
Qualifications
- Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program is required.
- Experience in veterinary practice for a minimum of 2 years is required.
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common veterinary procedures.
- Proficient in laboratory techniques relevant to veterinary medicine.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in veterinary practices.
- We are looking for availability on Tuesday's, Thursday's, and Friday's.
