We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and active individual to provide 5 hours of Companion Services per week for a friendly adult male who enjoys staying active in his community. He loves taking walks, hiking, grabbing coffee, exploring new places, attending local events, and spending time outdoors. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships while helping another person live an active, fulfilling life.
Position Details
- Pay: $22.38 per hour
- Mileage reimbursement provided
- Schedule: Approximately 5 hours per week
- One evening each week between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
- The specific day will be determined collaboratively between the family and the selected Support Service Professional (SSP).
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- Dependable, caring, and comfortable supporting community activities
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is helpful but not required
There may also be opportunities to provide additional backup support hours as needed.
